Shift Differental   Company:  Freeman Enclosure Systems   Shift(s):  1st, 2nd and 3rd Shifts Classification: Non-Exempt/Hourly     Position Summary   - Operate industrial straddle truck to lift, transport and position material following established methods and procedures, assist in departmental operations as directed - Maintain staging and storage areas in a neat and orderly condition and store materials according to alloy and size keeping alloys and sizes together. - Work from instructions to lift, transport, and position a variety of material into and out of inventory for departments requesting; pickup, transport, and position a variety of materials from department to department - Maintain all required material identification procedures - Exercise care in handling and stacking to avoid injuries to others, damage to equipment or materials. - Detect faulty operations of equipment, Maintain the work area, tools and equipment in the proper manner. Make operator maintenance checks on equipment daily and maintain all logs related to these checks. Follow standard quality, quantity requirements and safety regulations. Able to paint, with an even coat without runs, large equipment, utilizing compressed air, spray gun, and pressure pot systems without runs and with an even coat. The ability to weld in at least one of the following weld positions is a must (flat, horizontal, and vertical), while experienced in welding fillet or butt weld joints. Weld test will be required.
