- When requested, teach the production team about quality control concepts to improve product quality.
- Resolve quality related issues in a timely manner.
- Initiate and process Non-Conforming Material Reports. Identify (tag) discrepant / suspect material until dispositioned.
Required Skills & Abilities
- Proven experience as a quality inspector or relevant role
- Familiarity with quality testing machines and systems
- Thorough knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies
- Working knowledge of Word, Excel. Ability to locate, open, modify & save electronic files.

Candidate must be skilled in welding fillet and butt weld joints and able to read/ interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and work instructions. Passing a weld test will be required for employment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Proficient use of basic hand tools such as grinder, cut-off wheel, and magnetic drill.
- Ability to accurately read and interpret a tape measure (test will be required)
- Experience in layout, measuring, and fitting metal components
- Must be able to read and interpret manufacturing blue prints and weld symbols
- Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions
- Overhead Crane experience
- Ability to lift and maneuverer metal components a minimum of 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- Flexibility to work in other related departments as required
Education, Experience and Skills Required:
- 5+ year’s of on-the-job experience welding using GMAW or FCAW welding methods
- 2+ years reading blue prints and interpreting weld symbols

- Ability to perform metal finishing
- Understand the paint millage for each product and can check millage when needed

- Perform and assists with tank dumps on a regular schedule
- Assist with loading and unloading the paint line
- Operate tow motor and overhead crane safely and efficiently
