Job Title: Quality Assurance Inspector

Department: Freeman Enclosure Systems

Classification: Non-Exempt/Hourly

POSITION SUMMARY:

Freeman Enclosure Systems is searching for a Quality Inspector who can uphold the safety policies our company has created and oversee the production process to ensure that all products meet our high standard of quality. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing inspection/testing on products at various stages of production to ensure that customer specification are being met and company quality standards are followed.

RELATED JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Perform inspections on the floor and where needed

•  

  Repair, replace, & calibrate tape measures and gauges as needed
• Perform the assigned tasks
  • Inspections
  • Final Inspections
  • Sign in/out of gagues for production
  • Tank certification testing
  • U/L label placement
  • All other tasks assigned by Quality Manager or other leadership
• Assist in customer testing (sound, run, water, etc.)
• Maintain inventory of A. related work materials (zip ties, tags, paperwork, etc.)
• Assist production with engineering/customer related issues or questions
• Any other task assigned by Quality Manager or designee
• Skilled at reading and interpreting blueprints and shop drawings.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Flexibility to work in other related departments as required.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Must possess excellent communication and listening skills
• Proven history of understand industry safety standards and quality expectatio
• Understanding of welding and sheet metal preferred, but not required
• Able to work independently
• Attention to detail
• Visual Acuity
• Good communication skills with production personnel and management

SIGN ON BONUS

There will be a sign on bonus offered in the amount of $1,500.00.

After 30 days of employment a $750.00 pay out will be given.

The remainder $750.00 will be paid out after employee reaches their 90 days.
