Job Title: Maintenance

Department: Maintenance 

Reports to: Maintenance Manager

Classification: Non Exempt/Hourly

Hiring Bonus:  $1,500.00 Hiring Bonus To Be Paid Out After 90 Days of Employment

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Evaluate machines and building systems to determine required maintenance
• Conduct preventative maintenance
• Correspond with vendors to schedule maintenance needs
• Assist with departmental maintenance needs to coordinate schedules and budget
• Monitor and report on project progress
• Attend production meetings to coordinate scheduling and notify other departments of maintenance issues/timelines
• Contribute to the development of maintenance budget and ensure compliance
• Follow safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Oversee disposal of chemical waste; choose supplier, schedule, maintain safety standards
• Maintain building security
• On site First Responder - Assist in emergency and clean up

Required Skills & Abilities:

• Identify issues and determine required action
• Schedule required maintenance for building systems and machinery

Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Five years’ experience in manufacturing environment
• Proven record of working safely with electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
• Demonstrate knowledge of Lock-out-tag-out, machine guarding, and other safety systems

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift 50 lbs
