Job Title: Sheet Metal Assembler - 1st, 2nd and 3rd Shifts

Department: Freeman Enclosure Systems

Classification: Non-Exempt/Hourly

Pay:  Up to $20.00/Hour

POSITION SUMMARY:

The candidate will require experience or ability to assemble pre-fabricated metal panels and structure (mild steel, galvaneal, or aluminum), using both welding (GMAW/MIG) and bolt-on assembly methods.   

RELATED JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Proficient using basic hand and air tools such as drill, grinder, cutting wheels, wrench, and clamps.
• Demonstrate ability to accurately read and interpret a tape measure (test will be required)
• Ability to tack and stitch weld using GMAW/ MIG welding methods
• Required to follow written and verbal work instructions
• Ability to lift and maneuverer metal components a minimum of 50 lbs.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Flexibility to work in other related departments as required.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• 1+ year of on-the-job experience in related field or industry (metal fabrication, construction, welding, etc)
• Attended trade school and completed program in welding or construction
• Experience reading blue prints is a plus

SIGN ON BONUS

There will be a sign on bonus offered in the amount of $1,500.00.

After 30 days of employment a $750.00 pay out will be given.

The remainder $750.00 will be paid out after employee reaches their 90 days.
